A Message from the CEO and President of EduK Group
An essential part of EduK Group’s formula for success is to employ the most advanced technology to support our educative system. For that reason, since 2008 we have been evaluating various student information systems with the purpose of selecting and implementing a new system at all of our institutions. We evaluated four of the most recognized student systems in the higher education industry.
Following the evaluations, we selected Campus Management and their CampusVue® student system to be implemented in the three institutions that make up our Group. This is a unique opportunity to significantly improve the capacity of our information systems. The Project Sponsor for this new project is our CFO, Jose Cordova.
We contracted with Collegiate Project Services to assist us in preparing for this project as well as managing the implementation. Collegiate Project Services supports post-secondary institutions in the selection and implementation of information systems. Mr. Richard Quattrocchi, who possesses a vast experience in systems implementations, is serving as our Project Manager.
The implementation of CampusVue®, which began October 13, 2008, will take approximately 18 months to complete. We began the implementation with National College and expect the new student system to be in production with the launch of our new online programs by August 2009. Once National is in its final phase, we will continue with the POPAC and IBC implementations.
CampusVue® will serve to integrate the three institutions, improve online student services, diminish processing time for financial aid and improve communications among the student service areas.
We will keep you informed of the progress via this project website. Given the magnitude and importance of this project, we have designed a logo and chosen a slogan that identifies our efforts. The slogan, Working Together to Achieve Excellence, was selected because the new student system will provide us with tools to best serve our clients, the students. The logo represents the colors of our three institutions in the form of a puzzle that symbolizes each of you, our most valuable and important resources on this project. We are certain that through your effort and dedication we will be successful.
